When I was a kid I remember going on road trips to Show n' Shine car shows, or Valley runs with the antique car club that my parents were part of. I have always had a soft spot for old cars, the sounds, the smells, and the shapes. I plan to make a few more trips with my folks to some local and provincial shows. These are from a Friday night hang out down by the park. Enjoy!
Many Photographers seem to have a sweet spot for the lost and unusual. We find ourselves on road trips into the rural areas of the province seeking old houses or farms that are left behind. Many untouched by outsiders so little treasures from the past are there for us to find and photograph. This is a friend of my friend Brian Larter's old family house that has been left since the 70's we believe. We have been there a few times to see what it has to offer.
On a beautiful hot and sunny day the lovely Victoria and Parker came out to the commons for a photo session. This lil (or should I say BIG) guy is a whopping 3 months old! He could barely hold his own head up but he did and he looked so handsome!
While in the studio the other day, we were graced with two lovely parrots that were to be used in a shoot. I took the time while make-up was being done, to take some images of them by the window. They were so lovely. The first girl Kiwi was very much into posing.
This little guy is Archie, he enjoyed saying Peek-a-Boo and chewing on earings
I have a few more shoots that are being worked on so look for them soon.
This is Loki Lyesmith. He is our kitty of great personality. This is also his favorite spot to watch the great world outdoors.
With some time on my hands at home today between chores and editing, I took some time to sit outside with our beardie Zeus. He enjoyed the sun and will be on many other adventures this summer.
After a long trip of wedding planning in Cape Breton, we took some time to scout out some locations for wedding photos. Driving along the Cabot Trail is scenic, even if there are no leaves on the trees yet. Thankfully this allowed us to find some lovely abandoned treasures!
