Hello and everyone welcome first time model Carrie!

My lovely lady friend came over the other week to play dress up and model for me, and she did fantastic for her first time! She also broke my "shooting in my house" cherry! Woo!

She did her own hair and make-up for this shoot, and I am super excited for her to finish hair school so that she can come work with me on future sets! :)

Madison in the Woods

With summer now in full swing, and many trips planned with the new motorcycle, camping, biker events, and being outside and social, there seems to be little time for shooting. But I do get the itch and it's great to have friends like Madison who will come over in a heartbeat for some fun in the woods! Even though the flies were eating away at her legs, and that she started swatting branches with wasp nests in them!

A few days ago, my lovely friend Jocelyn came over on a nice sunny, but bitterly cold windy day to get some new acting head shots. We wandered around near our homes to find some nice colourful wall space to play with. Thankfully a lot of the old wooden shingled houses are always neatly painted, and weathered for some character!

It is been a little while since I have spent any time in the studio... so last week the lovely Anna and Madison came in with me to play around for a little while.

I haven't used gels in a long time.. like since being in collage long time.. and I seemed to have forgotten how fun they are! The ladies were stoked to play around with all the neat bright colours, and as a result some fantastic images came out!

This is Madison. It was the first time we worked together, as a model, as well as a hairstylist. She is fantastic and super funny. I loved her hair work with Anna and look forward to working with her in the future. She also did her make-up on this set.

Maratime Tattoo Festival

Hey folks!

Just a heads up that I will be once again sponsoring and working at the Maritime Tattoo Festival, here in Halifax, Nova Scotia!

I will once again be having a photo booth open all weekend long, so that you can get official festival portraits of you, your old ink, your new ink, or any of your awards, or just of you and your friends!

Large scale files will be for sale, but small scale files will be posted online for your usage. Large scale files will be able to print where as small ones won't print well. Also there will be a booklet of the images from last year as well that will be open for ordering.

Vixen

My friend Vixen made a trip down from New Brunswick a couple weeks back and we thought it might be fun to take some pics. She is so cute and tiny and I just wanna snuggle her.. only she's a little on the pointy side. Thanks ok. We love her anyway!

So I only just occured to me that I never posted these images of a wicked model Stephanie! She Came in from out of town to work with me one day, and it was ALOT of fun! She has some pretty neat wardrobe and was very funny! Don't let her serious look fool you! This girl is a doll!

A little while back a friend photographer Brian Later and I went into the studio with a couple lovely ladies for a day of shooting.

This pretty girl is a newbie in the modeling world and we were really happy to have her come in.

Ethan, Alex, and Ian

A few months ago, there was a draw at a local event that I sponsor, for a free photoshoot. This gentleman won, who came to me shortly after saying thanks, and how he hates having his picture taken (great yea? lol) So my friends Ethan and Alex (previously shot) offered to pose with him to make him feel more comfortable.

Alex and Ethan are amazing when it comes to concepts. We decided to do a post apocalyptic theme in the room next to Ethan's. This is what we did.

So I also took some time to do some shots of the lovely Lady Myers and Ethan because they are just too damn cute!!

I do have more images coming soon.. I just bought a new mac, and am using the new system, as well as CS4 so I have alot of catching up, and learning to new.. (note: CS4 camera raw is to die for!)

CP&D

With the stresses of quitting, one job.. looking for another, and then starting a new job in the middle of March Break has been a bit hard on my business side to get to work on editing a few shoots I have been doing since. So far I have 4 shoots I need to finish editing and then 1 more that I am doing today.

Also much to do about wedding plans has also put me behind on my work. I have been wanting to do more me photography this year but so far it looks as if that will have to wait until I have some stuff behind me.

The beautiful Alex Myers came into the studio again a month or so back, with the cutest outfit that was just too fun not to play with for a couple hours! Alex always has amazing style, hair and make-up ideas, I just love working with her.

And then she brought out the play needles and made a mini corset piercing in her leg. It was neat to watch!
