Cindy / Paul Wedding

I got a call from Cindy a week before their wedding, looking for a photographer. She and her fiance were coming in from Ontario to be married at Peggy's Cove. At first I didn't know they were eloping by soon found out there were only half a dozed people attending the wedding, that's including the officiant, myself, my assistant and my driver, ha ha!

It was a busy day at the cove, even though it was raining, and we had a big of a pour when we began shooting their photos together, but soon enough it lifted up to a lovely overcast.

They were wonderful to work with! They were wet, they were silly, and were enjoying living in the moment.. even when 60+ tourists are all snapping pictures of them as a tour guide walks by one of the most scenic places in the cove.

I just love the little hand in there.. and her reaction to the champagne.. BELCH!

This is what happens when a veil falls out and two people can't figure out how to put it back in :D

Congrats to you both! Have a wonderful life together! :)

Moncton Nationals

The Moncton Nationals is becoming one of the largest East Coast Car Show events of the year. The 3 day weekend filled with cars from every era. This was the first year that I was able to make a trip up. It was hot and sunny the whole time! I only made it through part of the show, and one day isn't enough to see it all! Will be looking forward to next year!

This car here is special. Not just because it's a beautiful 31 Model A. This was the first car I remember my dad owning when I was growing up. Only then it was two tone blue. She has come along way since I was a kid. My father spent some time talking to the new owners about where it has been since he had her. It was a very cool time!

A&W Car Show

Every Thursday night at the A&W in Woodside, they hold a mini car show. People go weekly, but on this night, there were a large crowd of people on tour right before the Nationals in Moncton that following weekend. It was a hot sunny day, which was a much needed break from the few weeks of rain we had. Here are some of the images I took.

Up next.. Moncton Car Show!

Tall Ships Halifax

It's not often that I get the urge to go downtown during a large festival to shoot fireworks.. but this weekend I did. It was our semi annual tall ships festival. This is an important event to my soon to be husband and I, as we were engaged during it on the HMS Bounty. We took it upon ourselves to revisit the moment dressed up as pirates (oh yes.. again) and enjoy the weather. Nasty sunburns tend to suck though.

Kelly and Mitch's Wedding

Karen and Brian were kind enough to let me tag along as a second shooter to Kelly and Mitch's wedding. They were a lot of fun to hang around with the whole day, that was full of laughter, even in the near 30 degree weather.

Karen and I then took a trip down the the pond, to discover that it was FILLED with adorable little green frogs who were VERY people friendly. So We thought it was funny to snap a shot of the "frog prince"

Flowers are always an eye pleaser :)

And so it begins :) Kelly and Mitchell's new life together :)

Congratulations Kelly and Mitchell! I hope you all the best in your many years together! You had a wonderful wedding!
