Kirsten and Brent

Not much can make a beautiful sunny Saturday better, than getting to photograph, an adorable and fun couple. Kirsten and I have worked together before, and she contacted me wanting to get some photographs of her and her beau Brent before he leaves for Afghanistan. Also! Not telling me during the whole thing that that day was her birthday! Silly Girl!
We took a drive up to the Dingle Tower and got some lovely shots along the beach and stunning stonework all while being taunted by dozens of crows! Had a lot of fun with these two! Here they are!

Pretty Grungy

Alas!

Finally we have the second set done with the adorable Anna Lovely! This was the set that rekindled the love between me and gels. Also that dress was the cutest thing I have seen in a long time!

Thanks again to Madison for the great job on the hair or "mane" as Anna was calling it.
Make-up was done by myself.

The Vinings

My uncle came to me a little while back asking to get some new images of his father and their family. So on a usually warm March day, we all went to his house and hung outside on the front lawn to do the images with these really neat algae covered rocks.

These are some of the end results! :)

Jocelyn Conway

A few days ago, my lovely friend Jocelyn came over on a nice sunny, but bitterly cold windy day to get some new acting head shots. We wandered around near our homes to find some nice colourful wall space to play with. Thankfully a lot of the old wooden shingled houses are always neatly painted, and weathered for some character!

Without further adau, here she is! <3>

Anna as Belle

Hello folks!

So this is one of two sets that was done with the adorable Anna Lovely. It was so funny.. when we started putting this outfit together, and getting the hair done.. it unintentionally came out like Belle from beauty and the beast! Overall it was perfect and came out super!

Thanks kindly to Madison for the hair!

Make-up was done by me.

It is been a little while since I have spent any time in the studio... so last week the lovely Anna and Madison came in with me to play around for a little while.

I haven't used gels in a long time.. like since being in collage long time.. and I seemed to have forgotten how fun they are! The ladies were stoked to play around with all the neat bright colours, and as a result some fantastic images came out!

This is Madison. It was the first time we worked together, as a model, as well as a hairstylist. She is fantastic and super funny. I loved her hair work with Anna and look forward to working with her in the future. She also did her make-up on this set.

The Scanlan Kids

Hey There!

An old friend (and wonderful Make-up Artist) Katie Scanlan contacted me saying she would be in town for a couple weeks and wanted to get some photographs of her and her brother done. I was more than happy to get to work with her again as we had a lot of fun working in Toronto back in '07.

Upon arrival I quickly found out that her brother had recently been in an accident and had a lovely bright white cast on his arm. We had a good time trying to tuck his poor wound out of the way for all the shots, but on a hot beautiful sunny day, we had some trouble! But it was all good laughs and fun!

Enjoy!! :)
